Meet the Instructor....

What was the most intimidating part of college for you, and how did you overcome it?

The most intimidating part of college for me were my math courses. I do not have a math or science brain, yet here I am working in the School of Engineering, ha!! Math is not my strongest suit, but I did pass the classes I needed because I asked for help at the tutoring center. I was scared to ask for help, but so glad that I did!

What is one podcast you never miss an episode of?

My Favorite Murder - Taking a dark and scary topic and making it more enjoyable!

If you had an intro song that played when you walked into the classroom, what would it be?

Anyway You Want It by Journey or All The Small Things by Blink-182

Do you have photos or mementos in your office that have a special story?

I have plenty of photos in my office because photos carry so many great memories that you don't want to forget! I may also have too many knickknacks that are scattered around. A lot of them are from countries that I traveled to in the last 10 years, so they hold a special place in my heart.

Do you have any furry family members, or are you a plant parent?

I have a 15 1/2 LB cat named Percy Catson. He is 11 years old. I got him when he was a three-month-old kitten from the Humane Society in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I hate to be that guy, but my world revolves around him!
