About
We believe...
...true academic enrichment occurs when students are equipped with a rigorous curriculum, meaningful experiences, and a strong academic foundation. The Academic Programs team within Undergraduate Education supports this path through high school concurrent enrollment opportunities, KU Core and KU Core 34, KU’s general education curriculum, and first-year courses designed to promote student success from the start.
Jayhawk Blueprint
Jayhawk Blueprint is a partnership between the University of Kansas and select Kansas school districts. This program allows high school students to take college courses at a discounted rate within their own schools. Upon successfully completing a Jayhawk Blueprint course, students earn both high school and college credit.

Courses & Seminars
Our courses are intentionally designed to build a strong foundation for academic success, foster meaningful connections, and help students make the most of their KU experience. With small class sizes, engaged instructors, and opportunities to explore big questions, these courses support academic skill development, introduce key campus resources, and invite students to dive into topics that spark curiosity.KU Core 34
The KU Core 34, KU’s general education curriculum, is designed to develop essential skills, provide a broad base of knowledge, foster interdisciplinary thinking, deepen understanding of U.S. and global culture. Our team offers administrative support to faculty-led committee that oversees KU Core and KU Core 34.
