Biography —
Meet your Instructor...
When I was a Freshman…
I was a first-generation college student who knew little about the career and professional opportunities available at the university, but I was diligent about learning them.
What was the most intimidating part of college for you, and how did you overcome it?
I paid my own way through college, using small scholarships and student loans, which made social integration challenging.
If you had an intro song that played when you walked into the classroom, what would it be?
“Making Flippy Floppy”
Do you have any furry family members, or are you a plant parent?
I had 2 dogs that I have yet to replace, and am a fair-weather vegetable gardener—many indoor plants, including avocado and lime trees.
