Success at University of Kansas comes down to staying connected, making use of tutoring, meeting with advisors early, and asking questions often. The more you engage with the support around you, the easier it is to stay on track and succeed.

When I was a Freshman… (What was your freshman experience like?) 

When I was a freshman, I didn’t know about things like loans, tutoring, or study abroad opportunities. Don’t make that mistake, at University of Kansas, talk to as many people as you can and ask questions so you can learn about all the opportunities and resources available to you.

If you had an intro song that played when you walked into the classroom, what would it be?

Do you have photos or mementos in your office that have a special story? 

Yes, I keep all the art projects I do with my Heartland CAMP - TRIO scholars that we create at the end of the semester to have something fun to do before finals.

Do you have any furry family members, or are you a plant parent? 

I am a plant parent and very good fur-sitter for friends.
