Biography —
In my role as Assistant Director for Academic Programs, I lead the First-Year Course teams supporting First-Year Seminars and UNIV 101: Orientation Seminar, including working alongside dedicated instructors from across the University of Kansas.
I design and implement curriculum to support students in the journey from college to career by helping them test out their interests beyond the classroom setting, emphasizing self-exploration, belonging, and community.
My goal in working with students is to help them identify the right path for them. That means taking into account each individual's unique personality, values, skills, and interests and exploring how those things map onto a potential career.
I earned my MA in Education at Louisiana State University, my BA in English Literature at Webster University, and I am a Gallup Certified CliftonStrengths Coach.
