When I was a Freshman…

I loved living in a dorm so much. Too much. I could never study if people were hanging out so always ended up beginning my reading after my roommates went to bed. I was up until 3 most nights and missed so many morning lectures.

Do you have any furry family members, or are you a plant parent?

Sort of both? My partner is pretty furry, and so are some of my house plants!

What was the specific moment or book that made you realize, "I want to study this forever"?

I did a research project while studying abroad my junior year and got to interview people for the first time — refugees and asylum seekers in Ireland. I knew I could listen forever to their stories.
