Meet the Instructor....

What is one podcast you never miss an episode of? 

I am a die hard “Sounds Like a Cult” fan- if you listen to the “Cult of Catholic School” episode, you’ll hear my voice! 

Do you have photos or mementos in your office that have a special story?  

I have a portrait of my dog, Twyla, drawn by former KU Basketball player, KJ Adams. The KU Basketball team regularly collaborates with the Lawrence Humane Society, and they have done “pet portrait” fundraisers with them several times.  

Do you have any furry family members, or are you a plant parent? 

My partner and I have two dogs, Kai and Twyla. I also have more houseplants than I have time to care for! 

Are you open to talking about things besides classwork, like career advice, life in Lawrence, or campus hobbies? 

I love talking about opportunities to get involved in the community through service! Come talk to me about finding volunteer opportunities and other ways to do good off campus.
